London Stay: Day 2

Today we took an overland from Clapham Junction to Windsor & Eton Central. There, we saw the Windsor Castle . Windsor Castle is one of three official residences of The Queen. The Windsor town is beautiful. There were a lot of tourists too.

From Windsor town, we took a shuttle bus (Note: This shuttle bus is not free.) to Legoland, where we got to see miniland which are made up of the lego bricks. These bricks make up of many significant London places. Besides London, miniland also has some modelled after places in Paris, Amsterdam, etc.

From left: This is just a small part of Legoland; Notice those flowers, they are made from Lego bricks; George and Dragon are made from Lego bricks too; Miniland's London Eye.

We managed to take a few rides like Hill Train, Sky Rider, etc before the rain came. There is a particular game that I find it special which is the Fire Academy where the family has to get up the fire engine and challenge the other 3 family team to get to the 'burning' building to put off the fire. Sound fun!!
I took these rides while I was there.

From left: I wanted to try this but the queue was too long; Lisa & Natalie are looking at the kids driving (This is the driving school after each ride, the kid will be certified with a driving licence); This is the Fire Academy I mentioned.

Beside the rides, we had caught a live action show by the Legoland people. It's called the 'Secret of the Scorpion Palace' where an actor 'Johnny' was trying to rescue a princess when the bad guys are hunting for the sapphire scorpion. I was impressed by the actors' high dives.

It was near evening time that we left Legoland and headed back home. This night, I guessed I still was having jetlag as I slept 9pm UK time again.

P.S. As my camera spoilt, these photos were from Teck Hong and Lisa's previous trip to Legoland and "The official Windsor Site"
